Project
Manager
Oversee total construction effort to ensure project
is constructed in accordance with design, budget
and schedule. Includes interfacing with owner site
representatives, architect representatives, contractors,
etc. Review all project personnel transactions
(hiring, transfers, wages), purchase requisitions,
etc. Ensure all company and project policies, procedures
and standards, including safety standards, are
adhered to. Provide direction to planning, scheduling,
engineering, accounting functions on the project
as required. Continually review all areas of work
to plan most cost effective method of operating
on all aspects of project. Represent company/project
in meetings with owner, architects, unions, etc.
Assist in labor coordination and negotiations as
required. Requirements include knowledge and skill
normally
obtained through an engineering
degree and extensive experience/knowledge of
construction, design, estimating, safety, management
and other facets of the industry.
