Construction of Consumers Energy's Tuscola County Wind Park Breezing Along

Consumers Energy Cross Winds Energy Park in Tuscola County's Akron Township is expected to start generating renewable energy for customers later this year. The 62 wind turbines will supply electricity to 31,000 homes.

William and Mary Announce $27 Million Renovation to Zable Stadium

William and Mary recently announced plans for a $27 million renovation to Zable Stadium. Barton Malow will be leading the pre-construction phase of the project that includes plans for a new upper deck, suites, a new press box, and new and enhanced concessions and restroom facilities.

'Starting to look like the picture:' See CMU College of Medicine Saginaw building

CMU College of Medicine construction

Central Michigan University's first College of Medicine East Campus building is starting to take shape and is on track for completion for May 2015. CMU will construct two buildings to make up the College of Medicine. Barton Malow Company will be constructing the first building, at 1632 Stone.

A $250 million technology upgrade is nearing completion at the Karn/Weadock complex–Consumers Energy's largest power plant–in Essexville, Michigan. Part of Pure Michigan Business Connect, the project has utilized over 200 building trades jobs during construction. Notre Dame Stadium Project to Begin in November

The University of Notre Dame will begin construction in November on Campus Crossroads, a $400 million project that will add three academic buildings to Notre Dame Stadium and premium seating to the 84-year-old football stadium. The project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2017. Barton Malow is excited to be working as the contractor alongside architecture firm The S/L/A/M Collaborative, co-designer RATIO Architects, and consultants Workshop Architects , and 360 Architecture.

The ENR Midwest Top Contractors list, published annually in July, ranks general contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction contracting-specific revenue. From that list, an industry panel designates one outstanding contractor as Contractor of the Year.
