Delivering the Promise at L'Anse Creuse Public Schools

In May 2005 the community of L’Anse Creuse Public Schools voted and passed a $210 million bond program. The Barton Malow project team was completing work on the 2002 Bond Program, so they were eager to start work that first summer on our 6th bond program with this client.

In their efforts of “Delivering the Promise" to the L’Anse Creuse community, throughout this bond program the project team has successfully completed work on 53 bid packages, passed 3 MIOSHA visits without any violations and had each school building open on time for the first day of school 6 years and counting.

Groundbreaking on StarTex Power Field

Construction of the new home of the Sugar Land Skeeters officially begun with the groundbreaking of StarTex Power Field. The new ballpark is expected to open for the 2012 season. Las Vegas, NV – The University of Michigan Football Stadium Expansion and Renovation project was one of the most significant construction projects of 2010, the Associated General Contractors of America announced. As a result, the project’s contractor, Barton Malow Company, was one of 20 firms to receive the association’s Aon Build America Award.

Northern Arizona University Skydome Renovation Construction Update

Barton Malow Company is currently performing construction management services for the renovation of the J.L. Walkup Skydome at Northern Arizona University. The 268,000 sf multi-purpose stadium will undergo renovations to address code and accessibility issues, including ADA handrails, wheelchair spaces and access to various areas of the Skydome, egress issues, life-safety storage, and electrical, mechanical and water issues.

North Bethesda, MD – February 28, 2011 – The Music Center at the Strathmore was the location for a blues concert honoring the late Robert Johnson. Johnson, a legendary American Blues singer and musician, is now recognized as a “master of the blues.” His work has inspired many famous musicians since his time, and he was ranked Fifth in the Rolling Stone’s list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
