Northern Arizona University Skydome Renovation Construction Update

Barton Malow Company is currently performing construction management services for the renovation of the J.L. Walkup Skydome at Northern Arizona University. The 268,000 sf multi-purpose stadium will undergo renovations to address code and accessibility issues, including ADA handrails, wheelchair spaces and access to various areas of the Skydome, egress issues, life-safety storage, and electrical, mechanical and water issues.

Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Featured in Architect's Guide to Glass & Metal

Completed in October 2010, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a new 700,000 square foot hospital designed by HOK. Appropriate to the hospital’s scale, style and functionality, the building’s exterior features an aluminum rainscreen system manufactured by Dri-Design Wall Panel Systems of Holland, Mich., and painted by Linetec of Wausau, Wis. The finished system was designed to protect against the harsh, winter climate and high winds of Lake Michigan.

Jacksonville, Florida – February 2, 2011 Construction firm Barton Malow Company was recently awarded the Osprey Dining Hall Facility on the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, Florida. Designed by Design Plus/Smith McCrary Architects, this $10-$15 million project is scheduled to open in August 2012.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Engineering Services Facility, Naval Ordnance Test Unit

Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida – February 2, 2011 L.C. Gaskins Construction Co., Inc., a Barton Malow Company, recently completed the Engineering Services Facility (ESF) for the Naval Ordnance Test Unit, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida and the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on January 28, 2011. This design-build project received an Outstanding Performance Evaluation from the government at a construction cost of $10.5 millon. Larry Gaskins, Harry Frost and Tim Anderson were in attendance for the ceremony.
