Youngker
High School

Buckeye, Arizona

Barton Malow provided construction services for a new 162,000 sf, 4 building high school campus for Buckeye Union High School District (BUHSD). Located on Apache Road and Lower Buckeye Road, the project includes an administration building, a classroom building, a vocational and special education classroom building as well as a day care facility, and a gymnasium/cafeteria building. Included in Barton Malow’s scope of work were tennis courts and a partial parking lot. Additional space was included for additional amenities that will be funded by passed bonds. The school was designed to accommodate approximately 1,200 students and mimics the design/structures of various barns throughout the Town of Buckeye.

Youngker High School plays a large role in the growth of the community as was built early enough to accommodate growth from the surrounding developments..
