Hartland
Consolidated Schools

Hartland, Michigan

We have worked with Hartland Consolidated Schools on several different projects since 1990, completing over $122 million dollars of work. As both Program Manager and Construction Manager, Barton Malow has guided our current project, $84 million and scheduled for completion in 2005, from day one.

Our services began with the bond program. We assisted with the application, walked it through the treasury, and helped select the architect, Kingscott Associates. We also provided facilities assessments, created a master plan and conducted a student enrollment evaluation. Consensus-building between the community and the building staff created a unified approach to the end master plan. Barton Malow assisted the district in their informational campaign to the voters, leading to a successful vote.

This is a completely new campus for Hartland consisting of three buildings, a 70,000 sf elementary school, a 389,000 sf high school, and a 6,000 sf field house complete with a football stadium, soccer, baseball and softball fields and track & field facilities.
