Just as promised, the project team delivered Oakleaf School a year ahead of schedule, to meet the needs of the burgeoning local population. This goal was accomplished through aggressive, creative construction sequencing and strong teamwork among all project partners.

The new 120,000 sf building was actually completed on a 10-month construction schedule. Scope includes classrooms, gymnasium, media center, science laboratories and a music suite, as well as athletic fields and facilities for football, basketball, baseball, softball, and tennis. The school encompasses kindergarten through eighth grade.

Southeast Construction magazine honored Oakleaf School with an Excellence Award in K-12 Construction.
