Over the years, for example, the University of Virginia has called on Barton Malow to build a replacement hospital, expand research facilities, renovate a stadium, and remodel classrooms and laboratories. At the University of Michigan, the picture is similar: a new hospital (subsequently updated), a life sciences campus, and numerous renovations. In addition, 70% of our higher education work involves renovations and additions, and the work frequently requires integrated technology – a single source for systems design and installation.
