Barton Malow Company Project Recognized by the Engineering Society of Detroit
Southfield, MI –– August 5, 2015— Barton Malow Company’s work on the St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital South Tower Project has earned a Construction and Design Award from the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD).
Projects were judged on effective teaming, design and construction quality, unique or innovative techniques, sustainability, and social and economic significance.
Now in its 41st year, the ESD Construction and Design Awards recognized the four projects at its annual awards dinner June 24 at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The ESD Construction and Design Awards are among the premier recognitions awarded to members of the construction industry and their projects. These awards are unique in that they honor the three primary members of the building team: owners, designers and constructors—and recognize outstanding team achievement and innovative use of technology.
