Tom Garza
Vice President, Industrial Services
As Vice President of Industrial Services, Tom brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to lead Barton Malow’s rigging, millwright, and boilermaker operations and collaborate closely with teams to drive results in the automotive, energy, and industrial markets.
Starting at Barton Malow in 2006, Tom has served in multiple roles within the company. His leadership focuses on growing the company’s industrial services capabilities while reinforcing the exceptional project delivery and relationship-driven approach that has defined Barton Malow for more than a century. Tom has led some of Barton Malow’s most complex industrial and automotive projects, including BlueOval SK Battery Park Kentucky, Delta Energy Park, Cliffs HBI Plant, and several major programs with DTE Energy. He is deeply engaged with fostering a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement across all industrial services teams.
Tom is a PMP Accredited Professional from the Project Management Institute, has achieved LEED Accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council, has been a member of the Greater American Chapter of the American Concrete Institute, and served as a Group Leader of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Project Managers Course in Dallas, Texas. Tom is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a graduate and varsity letterman in wrestling at the University of Michigan.
