Barton Malow Builders Promotes Four to Project Executive

Barton Malow Builders, the institutional and commercial building division of the Barton Malow Family of Companies, has promoted Blake Boyd, Daryl Dombrow, Stephanie Hachey, and Brian Horn to Project Executive.

Blake Boyd has worked in the construction industry since 2006 and joined Barton Malow in 2015. Blake has worked on notable projects including Brown & Brown’s Corporate Headquarters Building, the KPMG Capabilities Center for Tavistock Development Company, and multiple projects at the University of Central Florida. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Marketing and a master’s in Construction Science and Management, both from Clemson University.

Daryl Dombrow has been an integral part of Barton Malow’s K12 team since joining the organization nearly 20 years ago. Daryl has led the implementation of several innovative initiatives that continue the K12 Group’s relationships with existing clients and earn work with new clients. Daryl is currently on the Bloomfield Hills School District 2020 Bond Program and has worked on other notable bond programs at Midland Public Schools and Chippewa Valley Schools, among others. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Administration from Wayne State University.

Stephanie Hachey, P.E., has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, all spent with Barton Malow. She began her career with Barton Malow as a LEAPS intern and then joined full-time in 2001 as part of the K12 team. Throughout her career, she’s worked on notable projects such as the Anchor Bay School District 1999 Bond Program, the Chippewa Valley Schools 2004 and 2010 Bond Programs, and the Roseville Community Schools 2018 Bond Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wayne State University.

Brian Horn has 15 years of experience in the construction industry and is a key member of Barton Malow’s Higher Education team. Since joining Barton Malow, he’s worked on notable projects that include the Penn State University Chemical + Biomedical Engineering Building (CBEB) and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network New Regional Medical Center. He’s currently working on the Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center as part of the Barton Malow-Alexander joint venture. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architectural Engineering, both earned at Penn State University.
