After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering, Zach Beiler began his Barton Malow journey through the LEAPs internship program. Since joining full-time in 2019, he’s advanced from Project Engineer to Project Manager, leading teams on complex renovations and new builds—including the $235M Camping World Stadium redevelopment, Inter Miami CF Stadium project (now Chase Stadium), and the UCF Roth Tower project at his alma mater.
Zach’s proactive approach to field management, communication, and quality assurance, combined with his passion for sports and Florida’s vibrant culture, makes him an ideal fit for challenging, fast-paced projects in the Sports + Entertainment market.
Q+A with Zach
What is your role at Barton Malow and what does your day-to-day look like?
I’m a Project Manager for the UCF Football Campus projects, including the Stadium West Tower and other Athletics facilities. My daily responsibilities include coordinating with UCF, reviewing RFIs and submittals, managing project financials, and working with trade partners. Being a UCF alumnus and working on a stadium that holds so many incredible memories is an amazing experience.
How did you choose a career in construction?
I grew up working for a family friend’s concrete company during the summer and was intrigued by the industry ever since.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why?
Outside of my bias for UCF, I’d say Inter Miami Soccer Stadium and Training Facility. Building a $100M+ MLS stadium and training facility in eight months was an incredible challenge.

What’s the most interesting part of your job?
After working on multiple sports renovation projects, the most interesting part of my job has been developing and implementing our “gameday” logistics plans. Each venue presents a unique set of challenges, and it is extremely rewarding to see thousands of fans visit the “jobsite” for a game.

How would you describe your career path at Barton Malow?
My career path at Barton Malow has been fairly straightforward, starting as a Project Engineer and progressing into my role as a Project Manager. I have had the opportunity to be involved in multiple project pursuits and preconstruction efforts, which has been a great experience outside of the typical jobsite roles.
What is something you geek out about?
I’ve always geeked out about football, but recently it has been golf.
