Morgan State University Subcontractor Outreach Event

Join us at Barton Malow’s Baltimore office to learn about upcoming bid packages on Morgan State University’s new Science Center.
About the Project
The seven-story, 246,000 SF building will house the School of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences, uniting the university’s Biology and Chemistry departments under one roof. Designed for the 21st-century learning and innovation, the facility will have plenty of advanced research labs, IT spaces, collaboration zones, and a botanical greenhouse. Moody Nolan, the country’s largest African American-owned architecture firm, designed the Science Center as more than just an average university facility. The building will pursue LEED Gold certification and include sustainable features such as a green roof and grey water reclamation systems, aligning innovation with environmental responsibility. This transformational project stands not only as the largest state investment in the university’s history but as a legacy of innovation, equity, and visionary leadership.
