Women, Wellness + Work – An AIA Charlotte Women in Architecture Panel Event

The AIA Charlotte Women in Architecture (WIA) committee is partnering this year with the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and the Urban Land Institute’s Women Leadership Initiative (ULI – WLI) for a much-anticipated Mimosa Breakfast. The event will discuss the mental health of women in the workplace. Together, we will open up about the challenges encountered during normal life and COVID life, from the office, home, and home office. While facing the adversities of COVID-19, what are employers doing to help us achieve our mental health and wellness goals? Are there special programs women can benefit from or better ways to learn to design the spaces employees inhabit from 9-5? Barton Malow’s own Senior Vice President of People + Brand + Culture Jennifer Sulak Brown will be speaking as one of the panelists based on her experience cultivating a positive and proactive approach to culture and organizational development.
