Barton Malow Announces Expanded Responsibilities for Core Members of Leadership Team

The leadership changes are designed to protect Barton Malow’s culture, strengthen the core business, and invest in and grow adjacent and complementary areas.

Four members of Barton Malow’s Leadership Team — Brandon Booth, Cesar Diaz, Lindsey Rem, and Brandon Yezbick — have assumed new responsibilities to further position the construction organization for success.

Formerly the Chief Legal Officer, Brandon Booth now serves as the Chief Strategy + Risk Officer. In this role, he’s responsible for all enterprise strategy, innovation, outside investments, and further growth within the built environment outside of Barton Malow’s core construction business. Brandon continues to oversee enterprise risk management, legal, safety, and sustainability.

After several years leading Barton Malow’s Data + Automation team, Cesar Diaz is now the Senior Vice President of Strategy + Investments, where he works to ensure disciplined capital deployment and strategic planning throughout the company. Cesar will also maintain an active role in innovation.

Lindsey Rem is now Senior Vice President of Innovation + Project Delivery. As part of her expanded role, she works with Barton Malow’s Education Group to test and refine new ideas and technologies, scaling successful ones to other projects and markets.

Formerly Barton Malow’s CFO, Brandon Yezbick now serves as Chief Financial + Administrative Officer. Brandon’s responsibilities go beyond overseeing the organization’s financial health to ensuring all team members are equipped and enabled to perform their jobs at the highest level. He will lead enterprise functions — including Finance, HR, Systems + IT, Lean, Field Services, Real Estate + Facilities — to create integrated systems and strategic direction that remove barriers, unlock performance, and drive results.

“As we work to build a better tomorrow, our continued success requires evolution and refinement in our approach,” says Barton Malow President and CEO Ryan Maibach. “These moves will protect our culture, continue to strengthen our core business, and intentionally invest and grow in adjacent and complementary ways.”
