Barton Malow Promotes Five to Vice President

Barton Malow has announced that Sarah Bertolini, Soni Kreczmer, Elizabeth Geiser, Will Longsworth, and Sam Veltri have been promoted to Vice President in their respective entities within the Barton Malow Family of Companies.

In Barton Malow Builders, the institutional and commercial construction entity of the Barton Malow Family of Companies, Sarah Bertolini has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources, while Elizabeth Geiser and Soni Kreczmer move into Vice President roles overseeing Preconstruction and Finance, respectively.

In Barton Malow Company, the industrial entity of the Barton Malow Enterprise, Sam Veltri is now Vice President of Human Resources + Labor Relations and Will Longsworth the Vice President of Finance + Controls.

Sarah Bertolini, PHR, is a 21-year veteran of the construction industry and has been with Barton Malow since January 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Business Administration in human resources management from Baker College.

Elizabeth Geiser, LEED AP, started with Barton Malow in 1999 and has played a key role in design and constructability review, value engineering, preparing bid packages, and scheduling for more than two decades with the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Youngstown State.

Soni Kreczmer has more than 30 years of experience in the AEC industry and has been with Barton Malow since 1999. Throughout her career at Barton Malow, she has helped shape the areas of Project Financial Controls and Finance, strengthening the overall organization.

Sam Veltri has more than 30 years of human resources and labor relations experience. He joined Barton Malow in January 2020. He earned a Juris Doctorate in law from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in health service administration from Ferris State University.

Will Longsworth has 15 years of financial-related professional experience. He joined Barton Malow in 2017. Will holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, both earned at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
