Barton Malow Receives Inaugural Ragan Zenith Award for 100th Anniversary Campaign

On Wednesday, November 12, Barton Malow received a Zenith Award from Ragan Communications in the Special Event category for its 100th Anniversary campaign. Debuting this year, the Zenith Awards recognize the most outstanding achievements in internal and external communications, highlighting the campaigns, initiatives, individuals, and teams that elevate brands, engage audiences, and propel organizations forward. This honor reflects the impact of Barton Malow’s milestone celebration in a category that included organizations from various industries – not just construction.

Barton Malow officially marked 100 years in business in 2024, and its centennial campaign took place throughout the year on its website, social media, and its mobile museum dubbed the Legacy Tour. The firm was honored during Ragan’s annual Communications Week in Austin, Texas, at a gala where communicators from across industries gathered to recognize excellence and innovation in the field.

“The Zenith Awards recognize the work shaping the future of communications, and this year’s winners stand out for their creativity, strategy, and impact,” said Brendan Gannon, Senior Marketing Manager of Ragan Communications’ Awards programs.

Additional Recognition

Barton Malow’s 100th Anniversary campaign also received accolades from the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) at both the national and chapter levels in Florida and Michigan. The campaign won the coveted Marketing Communications Award at the society’s annual Amplify A|E|C conference, the Spark Award at the 2025 Southeast Regional Conference, and the Magic Marketing Award at an SMPS Southeast Michigan chapter event.
