Ohio Stadium Upgrades Project Recognized by USGBC Ohio

U.S. Green Building Council Ohio

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Ohio announced that The Ohio State University’s Ohio Stadium Upgrades project has been recognized as a 2021 Ohio Leadership Award winner as the Green Building of the Year in the Interiors category. The Leadership Awards recognize outstanding achievement in green building design, construction, and operations for LEED-certified projects in the region.

The USGBC announced the honor during a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday, January 26.

The Ohio State University’s Ohio Stadium Upgrades included renovations and improvements within the suites, as well as concrete restoration within the stadium bowl on both the B-Deck and C-Deck. The project earned LEED Gold Certification in 2020.
