Veteran construction leader Rob Frasca has been appointed the new executive leader and Vice President of Barton Malow Canada. Effective immediately, Rob will oversee project delivery and assume full responsibility for Barton Malow’s Canadian operations.
Rob replaces the retiring Tom Porter, who will close a 45-year career as a lawyer and construction executive, including 20 years of combined service with Barton Malow, at the end of 2025.
“We’re grateful to Tom for his leadership of Barton Malow and look forward to celebrating his tenured career,” says Senior Vice President of Energy + Industrial Matt Lentini, who oversees Barton Malow Canada. “At the same time, we’re excited about the future of Barton Malow Canada under Rob’s leadership. Rob is a high performer and well respected in the construction industry and throughout the Barton Malow enterprise.”
Rob began working with Barton Malow in a consulting role and was hired on as a full-time team member about four years ago, starting as Senior Transit Manager before moving into a role overseeing Ontario operations. With a background in project management and strong leadership and technical skills, Rob is well-positioned to grow Barton Malow Canada’s presence in the energy, automotive, and industrial markets throughout all of Canada.
“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter and ready to lead, learn, and create a meaningful impact for our Canadian business,” says Rob.
Barton Malow acquired its Canadian entity, formerly Alltrade Industrial Contractors, in 2019 and rebranded the business to Barton Malow Canada in March 2025. To date, Barton Malow Canada has installed more than 2 gigawatts of renewable energy projects across Canada, as well as more than 4 million SF of electric vehicle battery manufacturing facilities, 3,700 megawatt hours of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, and 1,250 megawatts of ground mount solar projects.
