Senior Vice President of Innovation + Project Delivery Lindsey Rem Named Among Crain’s Detroit Business’ 2026 ‘Notable Leaders in Architecture, Engineering & Construction.’ 

Lindsey has been with Barton Malow since 1999 and now leads enterprise innovation to deliver measurable value while maintaining operational performance. 

Barton Malow Senior Vice President of Innovation and Project Delivery Lindsey Rem has been named among Crain’s Detroit’s 2026 “Notable Leaders in Architecture, Engineering & Construction,” an annual list that recognizes outstanding professionals making an impact in the AEC industry.  

Honorees are selected by Crain’s editors and judged on their demonstrated ability to drive innovation and impact in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction, leading their industries into the future by adapting to emerging markets and mentoring the next generation. 

Lindsey has been with Barton Malow since 1999, when she started as a Project Engineer. In her 27 years at Barton Malow, she has served as a Project Manager, Project Solutions Manager, VDC Solutions Director, Vice President of Systems, and Vice President of Business Transformation.  

Today, Lindsey leads enterprise innovation, embedding it directly into day-to-day project delivery. She applies her background in technology, innovation, and operations with the K-12 Education market to accelerate testing, validation, and scaling of new tools and processes across the enterprise. With this responsibility, Lindsey ensures that innovation efforts deliver measurable value while maintaining operational performance.  

Outside of her role, Lindsey serves on the Judson Center Services board. She is the executive sponsor of Barton Malow’s Women in Technology group and a frequent industry speaker on innovation and AI, including at national conferences and panels.
