TSU Agriculture and Environmental Science + Food and Animal Science Building

Tennessee State University

Tennessee State University is investing in two cutting-edge facilities to advance higher learning in food science, animal science, and agriculture. Combined in one building at the prominent northeast edge of TSU’s campus, the program will promote cross-collaboration and offer shared spaces for learning and research for the multiple academic programs.

The Agriculture Food and Animal Science Facility will include research and teaching labs, classrooms, a multipurpose room, offices, and student collaboration spaces. Advanced research spaces include animal growth chambers and refrigerated lab support storage. The Agricultural Environmental Science Facility will house six research labs, four teaching labs, core lab spaces, classrooms, and support areas. Focused on plant, soil, water, and insect studies, this facility will also feature advanced technology for agricultural research.
