Barton Malow President/CEO Ryan Maibach has been appointed Chairman of the Detroit Regional Chamber Board of Directors. As an Executive Committee Officer on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Ryan will work to further help move Michigan’s economy forward in an enhanced leadership role.
Ryan joins Wright L. Lassiter III, President and CEO of Henry Ford Health System (First Vice Chairman); Patti Poppe, President and CEO of Consumers Energy (Immediate Past Chair); Daniel Ponder, Chairman and CEO of Franco (Treasurer); Sandy K. Baruah, President and CEO of Detroit Regional Chamber (President/Secretary); and J. Michael Bernard, Equity Member and Member of the Executive Board of Dykema Gossett PLLC (General Counsel) on the Board.
Last year, Ryan was appointed Chair of the 2020 Mackinac Policy Conference, originally slated to be held last May and then rescheduled for August before being canceled. As a result, Ryan is working on organizing a video series of Policy Conference-like sessions that will premiere later this summer and run up to the November election.
