Getting Race Ready

On Sunday, February 22nd at 1pm NASCAR fans will enter a new and improved facility for the Daytona 500 race. Although we still have almost a year of construction to go, the facility's new features include approximately 40,000 new seats ready in the Turn 1 side of the frontstretch grandstands! The new grandstands are higher, providing optimum views of the DAYTONA 500 from all seating locations. Along with these new seats, first-class amenities including larger and more modern restrooms, escalators and elevators will help spectators access their seats and large football field size “neighborhoods” featuring concessions, merchandise & social areas.

1,621,941 man-hours have gone into the transformation of Daytona International Speedway up to this point. Check out the video below on what the team did to get the facility “Race Ready” for Sunday’s event.
