Barton Malow is awarded ADA Renovation Project for Florida Hospital Apopka
Orlando, FL – June 18, 2010 – Orlando-based Construction Manager Barton Malow Company has been selected by Florida Hospital to provide construction services for the Florida Hospital Apopka ADA restroom additions and patient room renovations project.
The project involves bathroom additions and general renovations to 19 existing patient rooms, plus alterations to the circulation and support spaces on the existing first floor of the hospital. The project will also include upgrades to the Nurse Call systems in the existing and new portions of the facility. Work commenced in June 2010, and will involve multiple phases of work to minimize impact to the facility. The project architect is HuntonBrady Architects.
