Barton Malow Acquires L.C. Gaskins Construction Company

Southfield, MI – October 13, 2008 – To accelerate its presence in the federal construction market, Barton Malow Company has acquired the L.C. Gaskins Construction Company of Jacksonville, Florida, and Warner Robins, Georgia. The new entity will be known as "Gaskins, a Barton Malow company." The acquisition was completed on October 1, 2008.

Larry Gaskins will continue to lead the Gaskins entity. Harry Frost III, formerly of Barton Malow's Columbus, Ohio, office, will assume the role of project director and will work with the Gaskins management team in their Jacksonville office.
