Opening New Opportunities at Morgan State University
In the heart of Baltimore, we built more than a center for research and learning; we built a home for progress. On September 14, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially open Martin D. Jenkins Hall, Barton Malow’s 148,000-square-foot facility at Morgan State University. The Behavioral and Social Sciences Center will serve as an innovative, state-of-the-art academic and research facility that features classrooms, laboratories, and office space.
At the event, speakers highlighted that the site of the new west campus was the birthplace of the Civil Rights movement. Named after Martin D. Jenkins, the university’s seventh president, the project’s completion is a symbol of the progress made over the decades both academically and culturally.
Through our projects, we aim to impact the lives of people and communities around them. Thanks to all the team members who took part in creating and completing this historic project!
