Bruce Watts Hired to Lead Barton Malow’s Chicago Office

Chicago, IL – October 9, 2008 — Bruce Watts, PE, LEED AP has joined Barton Malow Company as director of the Chicago office. He is responsible for operations leadership including the recently awarded University of Chicago, Joe and Rika Mansueto Library project.

Watts brings extensive experience in the construction industry, having served as both the contractor and client in his 25-year career. In Chicago, he has led projects and supervised the construction of education, federal, corporate, healthcare, energy, residential and retail facilities.

Watts holds a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a registered professional engineer and a LEED® Accredited Professional.
