Barton Malow is excited to have completed another downtown revitalization project! Along with our joint venture partner Clancy & Theys Construction Company, we were selected to build a new MiLB Single-A baseball stadium for the City of Wilson, North Carolina.
Wilson Sports + Entertainment Complex (WiSE) is home to the Wilson Warbirds, an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, and seats more than 4,000 fans (with 3,500 of those seats being fixed seats). The scope of the stadium project also included suites, party boxes, and a 360° concourse. The JV team worked diligently over several years to get this stadium complete and open for the Warbirds’ 2026 inaugural season in the new stadium. The team moved into the stadium in April 2026.
Wilson Sports + Entertainment Complex represents the beginning of a larger superblock project. Future phases of construction will include a hotel built within the stadium along the 3rd base line and a number of apartment buildings and mixed-use development in the outfield. We are excited to have partnered with the Warbirds, the City of Wilson, NSV Development, and Clancy & Theys to transform downtown Wilson!
