Barton Malow Names 5 Vice Presidents

September 20, 2011 — We are happy to recognize the accomplishments and promotions of five Barton Malow employees to vice president. These organizational changes will help strengthen operations, support leadership continuity and are effective immediately.
Chuck Binkowski, a 30 year Barton Malow veteran, has been promoted to Vice President Operations, Industrial Group. Chuck joined Barton Malow working in the trades. Over the years he has developed a national reputation for his technical knowledge in self-performed concrete operations. Under Chuck’s leadership, our self-perform project teams have made improvements in site logistics and material management methods that have led to increased efficiency in work crews, scheduling, quality control as well as cost savings. Chuck has a gift for developing positive relationships, which has helped earned repeat work from SeverStal, Detroit Edison, Consumers Energy and other clients. In his new role, Chuck is responsible for Industrial Group client satisfaction, project delivery and staff development.
Kevin Camerson has served as the Operations Director, Energy Group, managing energy from coast to coast. Projects currently under his responsibility include the $96 million City of Anaheim’s Canyon Power Plant in California and the $165 million Bayonne Energy Center project in Bayonne, NJ. In his new role as Vice President, Energy Group, Kevin will manage Energy Group sales, preconstruction and construction support services for Energy projects nationwide.
Chris Moeller, works in the Barton Malow Orlando office as the Director of Preconstruction Services. He has lived in Florida for over 40 years and has positive relationships with subcontractors and owners. Chris earned his master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Florida. He began his career in operations and has managed projects throughout the southeast. As Vice President, Chris will work to expand Florida operations.
Bruce Watts established the Barton Malow Chicago office and has worked to secure education, research and federal projects. He served as the project executive on the Helmet Jahn designed University of Chicago Joe & Rika Mansueto Research Library Pavilion. Bruce is a professional civil engineer and LEED accredited professional. He earned his bachelor of science in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and his masters in civil engineering/construction management from Purdue University. He recently completed a two-year term as President of the Chicago Building Congress and continues to serve on the Board. As Vice President, Bruce will lead Barton Malow’s Chicago area operations and work to expand volume.
John Wozniak began his career with the company 28 years ago as a journeyman rigger and worked his way through field operations, estimating and project management at Barton Malow. He has developed broad expertise in manufacturing projects, with superior expertise in rigging, millwright, and iron working trades. John has managed industrial and rigging related projects in the United States, Mexico and Canada. He was instrumental in developing Barton Malow’s wind market expertise, which continues to expand. As the Industrial Group, Vice President of Operations, John is responsible for Industrial Group client satisfaction, project delivery, and staff development.
