Barton Malow Announces Corporate Marketing Promotions
Southfield, Michigan – July 7, 2011 — Barton Malow Company, a national building firm, announces the promotion of Dana Galvin, CPSM from Marketing Manager to Corporate Communications Director and Kelly McNair from Web Designer to Marketing Systems Manager, effective immediately.
As Corporate Communications Director, Dana Galvin, CPSM has overall responsibility for internal and external communications for the firm. A certified professional services marketer and MBA, Dana has been marketing in the built environment since 2001. Over the past year Dana has presented locally and nationally on the topic of social media strategy in a professional services firm for organizations including the Chicago Building Congress, the American Society of Concrete Contractors, and the Society of Marketing Professional Services. Most recently, Dana co-authored the SMPS Foundation White Paper entitled The Client’s Use of Social Media and Social Networking. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Communications and a Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
Kelly McNair assumes the position of Marketing Systems Manager from Web Designer. In this position Kelly will maintain responsibility for corporate marketing systems and databases that service the firm. Over the past year Kelly led the firm’s external website redevelopment. Kelly is a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services and has held various board positions in the Michigan chapter. Most recently, Kelly authored an article for Marketer Magazine entitled “Optimizing Website Value”. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University.
