PMI Great Lakes 2024 Spring Symposium: Transforming Project Management in an AI World

Barton Malow Senior Lean Manager Branden Clements, PMP AIA will be presenting on Value + Eliminating Waste with Value Stream Mapping during the Project Management Institute (PMI) Great Lakes 2024 Spring Symposium, which will also have sessions focusing on transforming project management in an AI world. Branden has held the Project Management Professional credential since 2020.

We all know that artificial intelligence is only as good as the data we put into it, and experience tells us that inconsistent processes result in inconsistent data. What if we were to use value stream mapping, which is a low-tech, industry-proven method to understand the value-creating steps in delivering a product or service, and use this to not only understand our current processes but also improve the data they generate? Branden’s presentation during this year’s symposium posits that argument and educates attendees on what value stream mapping is and how they can apply it within their own projects, products, or services they deliver.
