Barton Malow Builders VDC Manager Jevon Brookes, Barton Malow Company Senior Project Engineer Liz Fox, and LIFTbuild Project Engineer Bridget Joseph have completed certification to become Fitwel Ambassadors. A joint initiative created by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the General Services Administration (GSA), Fitwel is the leading certification system committed to creating and promoting health and wellness within all buildings. As ambassadors, they will help integrate Fitwel’s strategies within projects and effectively track Fitwell Certification progress.
The Fitwel Certification system was designed by experts in public health, facility management, and design and has seen record growth due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to allowing Barton Malow to respond to the growing market demand, Fitwel goes hand in hand with our core values of serving the people and communities our projects are built for and in.
