Daytona Rising Employees Racing to Complete Local Habitat House
A band of Barton Malow employees has spent the past three years of their lives working to build the nearly mile-long, $400 million Daytona Rising stadium project at Daytona International Speedway.
Many of them have now turned their attention to another construction project nearing completion within the borders of this city.
They didn’t need complex, digital schematics, or 1,000 ironworkers, or cranes the size of Atlas rockets. There has been no major media coverage of their efforts.
More than a dozen Barton Malow employees have been donating their free time and sweat and love to build a Habitat for Humanity house in the Flomich Woods subdivision about a mile north of LPGA Boulevard off of Derbyshire Road.
