Daytona International Speedway Works to Complete West-End Upgrades Before Speedweeks
There's a seven-week sprint on at Daytona International Speedway for the workers on the Daytona Rising construction project to deliver fan amenities in time for Speedweeks 2015. Barton Malow is in a race against the clock to finish the west end of the $400 million project in time for January's and February's events. Awaiting final touches are 40,000 new, wider seats and assorted modern-day extras, such as escalators, upgraded restrooms and concessions.
