Lutheran Medical Center Replacement Hospital Wins Project of the Year

Lutheran Replacement Hospital Construction

Early this month, the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation recognized the Lutheran Medical Center Replacement Hospital project, a Barton Malow-Haselden joint venture construction project, with its Gateways Award for Project of the Year. This award is presented annually to celebrate companies and partners in Jefferson County, Colorado.

“I am so excited that the hospital is here for the residents of Jefferson County because they really deserve easy access – which you’ve got here, right off I-70 – to the very best healthcare possible,” said Grant Wicklund, CEO at Lutheran Medical Center.

The hospital, which is slated to open in late 2024, will elevate health care in the region with a well-designed, efficient, and flexible facility design that puts patients and staff first. The replacement hospital reached the topping-out construction milestone in early September and remains on time and on budget.
